Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ & Pink Berry

(late post: Feb 2, 2010)
Kiko is not a bbq person at all. When I asked him to eat at Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ restaurant, he just gave me a weird look and smurk. Was it a yes or no? Well, I took it as a yes and on our way to Lucille's we went ^_^. It was my first time so I wasn't sure if it was going to be good or not. I'm easy to please. As long as they have pulled pork sandwich, I'm good!

We went as soon as they opened, and we were one of the first few people there.

They had 3 kinds of Lucille's BBQ sauce in each table. Hot and Spicy, Memphis and Original.

Hot biscuits with whipped sweet butter for starters. I could eat this butter by the teaspoon. It tasted like sweet icing ^_^

Drinks were served in mason jars. Cool.

For appetizers, I ordered Fried Pickles. First time trying fried pickles and I love them! I want to make it at home.

Baby cakes got the Tri Tip BBQ sandwich with a side of green bean salad. I can't remember what kind of tri-tip sandwich because they had 3 kinds in the menu. But Kiko really liked it. If he's quiet while eating, then it's a good thing lol.

I got the Lucille's Original Pulled Pork sandwich with Coleslaw. I just had to get it. It's been way too long since I had one. I enjoyed it a lot. The bun was kind'a small in my opinion, but I'm sure glad they were generous with the meat.

I really like the side of coleslaw with crushed peanuts on top. It was sweet and tangy, I wanted more!

Since I couldn't decide on what kind of BBQ sauce to try with my pulled pork, I decided to make my own sauce sampler lol. Sauce heaven. They're all good, but I really liked the hot and spicy BBQ sauce the most. It's the biggest blob in the middle.

And they gave us hot towels to clean our sticky hands...cool!

For dessert, we went to Pink Berry! Man, I used to be obsessed with this place, and I swore I would never eat at another yogurt place ever. But that silly faze is gone now, and I alternate between Pink Berry and Yogurt Land. If I'm broke, I go to Yogurt Land. If I just got paid, I go to Pink Berry lol.

I love how Pink Berry is always clean!!

I got  Parfait Original with mangoes, blueberries, sun flower seeds and granola. Yum!

Like always, Kiko gets their large chocolate with nuts, berries and more chocolate. Is it obvious that he loves chocolate?

Have you tried Lucille's BBQ?
