Mario Lopez at The Grove L.A.

Another old photos...I actually forgot I had these. But here they are, and here is Mario Lopez at the Grove L.A. filming for Extra. My mom, grandma, Momo and I happened to be there when they were filming. Do you like Mario? He was pretty cute with his jerry curls in Saved By The Bell and he has killer dimples on Extra.

We had lunch at the Farmers Market, which was next to The Grove. I love coming here because the food is always good and fresh. The prices can be a little higher that other Farmer's Market I've been to, but it's worth it.

Sorry, I forgot exactly where we ordered all these food, but I'm sure they were all next to each other.

My food...Chicken and Garlic Pizza baked in a stone oven.

Baked Chiken, Beef and Onions, Chowmein and Fried Rice for my grandma. Good Chinese fast food.

Hmmm...I'm not sure what kind of Chicken Wings these are, but my mom got it from a Persian food stall.

That's all folks!

Horchata with Boba, Creamy Taco de Carnitas and Shrimp Fried Rice..

Yesterday, Mon and I went to Grand Central Market in Downtown L.A. for lunch. I've been dreaming of their delicious tacos ever since Mon took me here weeks ago. Read my previous post here. They're only $2.50 each and one is all you need because it's big and they give you so much meat!

Here are some of the photos I took. They're not the best quality because I used my small Canon digital camera.

This man stood in front of the candies for awhile. With all that yummy candies, he's never gonna decide.

These are Mon's fav! Chile Lemon Churros

Back at the same taco spot, we ordered Taco de Carnitas for me and Taco de Carne Asada for Mon. There's 8 guys working behind the counter taking orders, making the stuff, doing cashier duties while customers shout out their orders. It was a bit crazy, but it was fun to watch lol.

Taco de Asada

I got Shrimp Fried Rice $6 to compliment our tacos. Yeah there were rice and beans, but shrimp fried rice sounded better! It's from a Chinese take out not too far from the taco spot. Man, Mon and I were absolutely amazed by it. I don't know what the heck they put in it, but it had a really strong shrimp flavor that we really liked. It was delicious.

My Taco de Carnitas. I told Mon how creamy and melt in your mouth the meat was and she just laughed. She said, "how can meat be creamy?"

For dessert, I bought an eclair $1 and a slice of cake $1. Both were amazing as well. It was very light and not too sweet. It was just right!

For my drink, I got Horchata with Boba ^_^. It was a special request.

Next time I'm going to bring my other friends because I know they're gonna like this place. It's amazing food for such a low price!

L.A. Food Trucks

FOOD TRUCKS = LOVE!

My friends Morris, Monica and I had a food truck binge after work in Downtown L.A. We went before Art Walk started to avoid the long lines. We've been to Art Walk too many times, so now we skip all the art galleries and just go straight to the food trucks! All kinds of food trucks were parked in 3 parking lots and we went through all of them and it was honestly difficult to make a choice because I wanted to try every truck.

Here are some photos I took. Enjoy!

My face lit up when I saw The Cheeseball Wagon. OMG cheeeeese! The first thing I saw on the menu was World famous Cheddar Cheeseballs with Ranch dressing $6.50 and that's what I ordered. I love cheese and I love fried food, so combining the two was heaven. Days later, I was still raving about it to my friends.

Morris got their Ham and Cheese Slider $2.50. Honey roasted ham, swiss cheese, garlic mayo  in hawaiian sweet roll. I took a bite of it and it was really good. The garlic mayo was incredible. I think I can replicate it at home!

Mon couldn't decide what she wanted, plus she's a picky eater, so she kept it safe and got herself a Hotdog and Chili Cheese Fries from the World Famous Sausage Sandwiches food truck. We shared it.

Mmmm... more cheeeese!

Morris went to the Shrimp Dancer truck and got their Shrimp Po Boy. Sorry, I forget the name and I didn't get to try it, but Morris loved it and he said he licks his laptop screen every time he sees this photo ^_^

Lastly, Monica got Spicy Shrimp Tacos at a food truck that I forgot to take a photo. Sorry! The shrimp was seriously perfectly cooked. It was tender, sweet and very juicy.

I have more food trucks post coming, so watch out for that!
