My family and I went to Vegas on the 4th of July weekend and it feels so good to see some normalcy. Hotels, casinos, and restaurants are all open. One of them is the Wicked Spoon Buffet inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel. It's in my top 3 favorite international buffet restaurants in Vegas. They've been open for 3 months and we had to check it out.
HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
1. Opens at 8:00-11:00am for breakfast and 11:00-3:00pm lunch.
2. Price increased. We came on a Sunday morning and they charged $58 per person and my 3 yr old was free. That excludes tips. It was worth it.
3. Prepare to wait. We waited for 1.5-hour to get a table which wasn't too bad. But by the time we left at 12:40pm, there was a long line of people that snaked around the hotel. I heard staff said the wait time was 3-4 hours. Yikes!
4. Breakfast includes a cold bar, omelet station, brunch station, breakfast-inspired dishes, an international station, Asian station, grill station, desserts, and a smores bar where the staff makes them for you. See Wicked Spoon's Menu here
5. Endless crab legs are included in breakfast. If that's your thing then make sure you get a bunch because the line was really long to get them.
6. Superb customer service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We witnessed them working efficiently as a team from cleaning tables, picking up plates, and refilling drinks. We tipped generously.
Endless Crab Legs Duck Taco, Pork Bao, Braised Pork Trotter, and Duck Wing. Everything was delicious! I went back for more. |
